Our healthcare record
Fifteen years in healthcare, stated plainly
Healthcare is where we build most. That work has been non-clinical operations for payers, providers and their service companies, and until now it has been outside protected health information. Our first healthcare engagement under a business associate agreement is in progress. We execute a BAA before any engagement that touches PHI, and PHI is accessed only inside client-controlled systems by named individuals.
History
Our history, in six moves
Step 1: 1971
Founded in New York as PJL Systems, building operating software for field-service contractors. A software company from day one.
Step 2: India, for clients
We ran our own India operations first, then set up and ran them for clients. Today that is Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Step 3: Two decades ago
We moved into financial services and chose regulated industries deliberately. Build the systems that run the operation, then stay.
Step 4: Healthcare as a core market
Healthcare became a core market: non-clinical work for payers, providers and their service companies, outside PHI until our first BAA engagement, now underway.
Step 5: 2017
Our first AI work, run inside our own recruiting, compliance and delivery before we offered it to anyone.
Step 6: 2026
Healthcare became our focus, as its AI operating partner: find, build and run inside the business.
Our story
Still here, and still building
Founded as PJL Systems in New York in 1971, we built the systems field-service contractors ran on. We ran our own India operations, then set them up and ran them for clients. Captive centers, shared services, capability centers: the labels changed, the work did not.
