55 Years of Operations. Two Levers of Compounding.
Reliable Group is a US-headquartered operating company founded in New York in 1971. We redesign your org chart AI-first, build the Virtual Employees, and hire the offshore team inside your entity that runs them. Both halves built on top of five decades of regulated, multi-industry operations.

55+ Years of Building Operations
From PJL Systems to Two Levers
Reliable Group was founded as PJL Systems in New York in 1971. For over three decades we kept the India advantage internal, using our own operations there to power the business. In 2005 we began offering that same capability to our clients, helping American companies set up and own operations in India. We built engineering teams, ran payrolls, hired hundreds of professionals across regulated functions, and stood up the kind of technical depth most operators only get to write about in case studies. That was the business then. The technical depth is still the business now, the operating layer on top of it is what changed.
Three things shifted in the 2020s. First, the work that benefits from technical scale stopped being only software engineering and started including pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, financial controls, claims, prior auth, and the long tail of regulated knowledge work. Second, the way we run operations shifted. We started instantiating Virtual Employees inside our own business: a recruiter, a CFO, a general counsel, a board of directors, a marketing team. The suite grows every quarter and works alongside our humans every day. Third, the operators we sell to stopped asking for more headcount and started asking for org charts that handle more work without it.
That is what V6 of Reliable Group is. Two levers. The AI-native org chart and the Virtual Employees that staff it. The offshore team inside your entity that runs them. Both built on top of 55 years of US-headquartered, India-operated continuity. We did not pivot from offshore to AI. We absorbed the AI layer into the same operating company that has been running for half a century, and the technical bench that powered that company is what makes the AI layer credible.
Reliable Group is still privately held, still headquartered in New York, still led by people who have worked in this business for decades. Our India operations span Vadodara, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Noida. The leadership in those cities has been in place for years. The institutional knowledge does not walk out at the end of a contract because we do not run on contracts. We run on operations.
We think of ourselves as a partner whose job is to work toward your independence, not a vendor whose revenue depends on your continued reliance.
Technical Depth Is The Substrate
Both levers sit on top of capability we have built across 55 years of regulated, multi-industry operations. Software engineering, QA and test automation, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and the long tail of regulated knowledge work in pharma, financial services, healthcare, and insurance. The technical bench is not new. The AI-native operating layer is what we built on top of it.
Software & Platform Engineering
Captive engineering teams, full-stack development, QA and test automation, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering across six India cities.
Regulated Operations
Pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, clinical data management, RCM, claims, KYC, AML, trade reconciliation, and financial controls. Every function operating against the relevant audit posture.
AI-Native Operating Layer
Virtual Employees instantiated inside specific workflows. Persistent memory inside your data boundary. Token economics scoped before deployment. Governance and audit trails engineered from day one.
Compliance Infrastructure
HIPAA, SOX, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, and the state-by-state filings that come with running operations across two jurisdictions for 55 years.
Talent and Hiring
Recruiting across six India cities. Sourcing, screening, technical bar, and the Virtual Employee screening layer that pre-qualifies before a recruiter touches a profile.
Entity and Operating Setup
Incorporation, banking, payroll, facilities, IT, security. The mechanical work that turns a hiring plan into an operation that runs without your team becoming experts in Indian labor law.
How We Think About This Work
We are operators, not consultants.
There are firms that will produce a 200-page report about what your AI-native org chart could look like. We hand you the chart, the Virtual Employee specifications, the offshore team plan, the unit economics, and an office with employees in it. We don't deliver services. We run your second office. The line matters at exit: a vendor relationship is risk a buyer prices into a discount; an owned operating capability is an asset a buyer prices into a premium.
We run on what we recommend.
Reliable Group runs a suite of Virtual Employees across recruiting, finance, legal, marketing, pipeline hygiene, and market-signal detection. We designed the token economics, the governance controls, and the persistent memory architecture against our own scars. Then we shipped them to clients.
The people belong to your organization.
Every person we recruit and hire joins your team, learns your business, and builds knowledge that stays inside your company. The Virtual Employees we build run inside your data boundary. Reliable handles the infrastructure underneath. The institutional expertise compounds with you.
We build for your exit, not our retention.
Our engagements are structured so that your dependence on us decreases over time. The COPO model puts the entity, the team, the data, and the AI workflows on your books. When a client reaches the point where they do not need us anymore, that is what success looks like.
What We Run On
Get It Done
We measure ourselves by outcomes, not effort. Did the Virtual Employee ship to production? Was the team hired to spec? Did payroll run accurately? Did the audit pass? Everything else is conversation.
Fire
When a client tells us they need 15 engineers by Q2, we do not start with a discovery workshop. We open the requisition queue and begin sourcing candidates that afternoon. When a client needs a Virtual Employee in production in eight weeks, we lock the spec and start the build. Urgency is a value here, not a reaction to falling behind.
Sharp
The details matter more in this business than people expect. A payroll error erodes trust. A missed compliance filing creates legal exposure. A wrong prompt structure burns four times the token budget. We pay attention to the small things because in operations the small things are exactly where problems start.
Humbly Confident
We know what we are good at, and we know where our expertise ends. We have scars on token economics, governance, and persistent memory. We will tell you about them. We will also tell you when something falls outside our wheelhouse rather than pretending otherwise.
Do the Right Thing
Especially when it is expensive or inconvenient. This business runs on trust that spans oceans, time zones, and now compute boundaries. We do not cut corners on compliance, we do not bury problems in monthly reports, and we do not tell clients what they want to hear when the reality is something different.
Ready to Talk?
Both levers, scoped together. Three to five weeks.
The Blueprint is the entry product. Outcome: your AI-native org chart, the Virtual Employee roster, the offshore team plan inside your entity, the joint unit economics.
