Cookie Policy

In plain language

Until you answer the banner, this site puts nothing in your browser and loads no third-party analytics. If you decline, that stays true.

If you accept, we load Google Analytics, which sets two cookies so we can count visitors in aggregate. That is the whole list. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and nothing sold or shared.

To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.

This summary is provided for readability only. It is not the operative text and it does not modify anything below. Where the two appear to differ, the numbered sections govern.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site recognise your device and remember information about your visit.

Browsers also provide local storage, which serves a similar purpose but is not sent back to a server with each request. We use local storage for one thing, described below, and we list it here rather than omitting it on the technicality that it is not a cookie.

2. What This Site Actually Sets

Before you make a choice on the banner, this site sets nothing in your browser and loads no third-party analytics. If you decline, that remains true: the Google Analytics scripts are not added to the page at all, so no analytics cookie is created. If you accept, the two Google Analytics cookies below are set.

We do not set advertising or marketing cookies, we do not use cross-site tracking pixels, and we do not sell or share browsing information. There is no marketing cookie category in this policy because there are no marketing cookies to describe.

We also use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for aggregate traffic and performance measurement. Both are cookieless and store nothing in your browser, which is why they are not gated behind the banner and do not appear in the table below.

3. The Full List

4. Third-Party Vendors

Google Analytics, provided by Google, for aggregate traffic reporting. Loaded only after you accept. IP anonymisation is enabled. Google's own privacy terms apply to data it receives.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, provided by Vercel, our hosting provider, for aggregate traffic and page-performance measurement. Cookieless, and they store nothing in your browser.

We do not currently run advertising or social tracking tags. Earlier versions of this policy referred to a LinkedIn Insight Tag; it is not present on the site and the reference has been removed rather than left in place as a possibility.

5. Managing Your Choices

To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser. The banner will appear again on your next visit and your new choice will be applied immediately, without needing a page reload.

Every major browser also lets you refuse or delete cookies for any site. The method varies; look in your browser's settings or help. Blocking essential storage may mean the banner reappears on every visit, because the record of your choice is the thing being blocked.

Declining costs you nothing on this site. There is no content behind the banner, no reduced functionality, and no repeated prompting once you have chosen.

6. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy when what the site sets changes. Substantive changes are summarised in the version history at the end of this page, so you can see what moved rather than only that something did.

Version history

What changed, and when. Substantive changes are summarised here rather than only reflected in a revised date, so you can see what moved.

  1. Substantive correction. The previous table listed three items this site does not actually set, and described cookie_consent as a one-year cookie when it is a local storage entry with no expiry. Those entries were removed. The two real Google Analytics cookies were being set even for visitors who declined, because Analytics loaded unconditionally; that behaviour has been changed so nothing analytics-related loads until consent is given. The marketing cookie category was removed because the site sets none, and a reference to a LinkedIn Insight Tag was removed because it is not present. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are now disclosed, with a note that they are cookieless.
  2. Previous published version.

For a copy of a previous version, write to legal@reliablegroup.com naming the date you need. We retain prior versions and will send the one you ask for.
