Reliable Group
GCC Model: COPO

COPO: Company-Owned, Partner-Operated. Your entity, our operations.

As your AI operating partner, we hire, train and run your India team. Your entity employs it from day one.

An owned operating asset that travels with the company at exit. Not a vendor contract.

How It Works

The COPO Process

Your name on the entity. Your workflows running on your data. Our machinery underneath.

  1. Entity Registration

We help you incorporate your Indian subsidiary. You own the entity from the start, with your name on the registration.

  2. Infrastructure Setup

While the entity is registered, we set up the office, IT and operating systems in Pune, Mumbai or Hyderabad.

  3. Talent Recruitment

Reliable recruits your team, but every offer letter goes out under your entity. Employees join your organization directly. No secondment, no transfer needed later.

  4. Workflow Design

Alongside the first hires, we design the workflows the team will run: rules-based automation first, AI for suitable unstructured work, people for judgment.

  5. Operational Management

Under a services agreement, Reliable manages HR, payroll, compliance, facilities, and admin. Your US leadership directs the work. We handle the operational machinery.

Compare the Models

Where COPO sits among the three models

COPO is the base model. A BOT clause adds the right to take over operational management on pre-agreed terms; Flexi is the bridge for clients without an entity yet.

Operating assets Reliable Group held means leases, equipment, vendor contracts, documentation, AI workflows and data access. Your client-specific workflows, data and documentation are yours. Trace is Reliable Group software, licensed under the engagement; third-party tools keep their own license terms. Open-source components and third-party models keep their own licenses, and Reliable Group's pre-existing tools and methods remain ours. Your engagement contract governs.

Key Features

Why COPO Works

We Are Invisible to the Team

No Reliable logo on the offer letter and no secondment. Your employees work for your company, with your culture and career paths.

Day-One Ownership

The entity is registered in your name and employees are hired into it, so neither has to transfer. Your team takes over when you choose.

Clear IP Lines

Your client-specific workflows, data and documentation are yours. Trace is Reliable Group software, licensed under the engagement; third-party tools keep their own license terms.

Compliance Management

Indian labor law, tax filings, PF/ESI administration, and statutory filings are handled by our team on a defined schedule and reported to yours.

No Forced Timeline

There is no contractual handoff deadline; your team takes over functions at its own pace. A BOT clause fixes takeover terms up front.

Who does what

You own it. We run the mechanics underneath.

In short: your company directs, decides and approves; Reliable Group runs the local operations. This is the standard split; the services agreement records the version that applies to you.

  • Board and corporate governance

    Your company
Owns. Appoints directors, holds board meetings, approves the statutory accounts.
    Reliable Group
Prepares board packs and coordinates the company secretarial calendar.
  • Statutory filings

    Your company
Accountable as the entity owner. Signs and approves.
    Reliable Group
Prepares and files on the statutory calendar, and flags anything requiring a director decision.
  • Payroll

    Your company
Approves the payroll run and funds it.
    Reliable Group
Runs payroll, benefits administration and statutory contributions, and produces the evidence pack on a defined schedule.
  • Hiring

    Your company
Sets the hiring bar, interviews, and makes every offer decision.
    Reliable Group
Sources, screens, schedules and manages the offer and onboarding process.
  • Performance management

    Your company
Owns performance outcomes, promotion and compensation decisions.
    Reliable Group
Operates the review cadence, documentation and any performance process required under local law.
  • Facilities

    Your company
Approves location, footprint and spend. Holds the lease where the entity is the tenant.
    Reliable Group
Sources space, manages fit-out, and runs day-to-day facilities and workplace services.
  • Security and access

    Your company
Sets policy. Owns identity, access approval and the control environment.
    Reliable Group
Implements to your policy and evidences the controls. Does not grant itself access.
  • Technology and endpoints

    Your company
Owns the systems, the standards and the data.
    Reliable Group
Procures, images and supports endpoints and connectivity to your standard.
  • AI workflows and institutional memory

    Your company
Owns the client-specific workflow specifications, memory and outputs, which sit inside your entity.
    Reliable Group
Designs, builds and operates them under your governance. Trace and third-party tools stay under their own licenses.

Your company owns the Indian entity, and the extent of that ownership depends on the sector: some activities are open to full foreign ownership and others carry conditions or approval requirements. Tax residency, permanent establishment and employee-transfer mechanics are jurisdiction specific. Nothing here is legal or tax advice. Reliable Group works alongside your counsel and tax advisers, who own those opinions.

Is COPO Right for You?

COPO Is Best For

Companies with strict IP ownership or governance requirements

Organizations whose board requires entity ownership from day one

Companies in regulated industries where the legal structure matters

Businesses that want full brand control over their India team

Organizations that have India experience but need operational support

Companies in healthcare, pharma, or financial services where regulatory audits require documented employer-of-record clarity

Organizations that want a clean India entity with no vendor entanglement

Companies that have previously used staffing or BPO and are building a clean separation

Already Stuck with a Managed GCC Vendor?

You own the entity, but the vendor owns the capability. Your team does not understand the operation.

The knowledge walks out the door at every refresh.

COPO is the exit strategy: we transfer full operational knowledge to your team. Over time, you could run it without us.

We are not a vendor you are dependent on. We are a transition partner.

What we hand off is not a legacy BPO playbook. It is an operating model built around automation and AI: the team, the workflows, the integrations, the governance around human review, and the documentation of how it all runs, held by your company.

The AI workflows run on your data inside your entity. When the transfer is complete, you operate an AI-native function, not a rebuilt 2019 team.

What an AI operating partner does
Getting Started

What You Need, and What Happens First

Prerequisites on your side

  • A board decision to incorporate in India, with your counsel advising on structure and sector conditions.
  • Directors and a registered office for the entity, as your counsel advises.
  • A named US owner who directs the team and approves hires.
  • Your security, access and data policies, which the team works under from the first day.

Setup milestones

  1. Entity registered in your name.
  2. Office, IT and endpoints ready to your standard.
  3. First hires onboarded under your entity.
  4. In-scope workflows documented and automation built.
  5. Regular operating reviews with your named owner.

The services agreement sets the dates for each milestone once your entity structure is agreed.

Your entity from day one. Start with a discovery of one department.

A fixed-fee discovery of one department, six to eight weeks, ending in a workflow map and a fixed-price proposal for the first build. It shows where automation and AI fit and where the work still needs people, so the team is scoped around measured work.
